Welcome to the Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority's Sponsorship and Advertising Program
At the Regional Port, we are committed to fostering economic growth, supporting workforce development, promoting tourism, and encouraging environmental stewardship. Our sponsorship program aligns with our vision, mission, and values to create a vibrant and prosperous future for the Chelan and Douglas communities.
Program Criteria:
To qualify for CDRPA sponsorship or advertising support, projects or events must meet the following requirements:
1. Alignment with Key Focus Areas
Your project or event must contribute to at least one of the following:
Economic Development:
Promotes job creation or retention
Supports entrepreneurship
Increases the local tax base and collections
Workforce Development:
Provides exposure to workforce training opportunities
Facilitates vocational outreach or career development
Highlights pathways to local career opportunities
Tourism:
Attracts visitors from outside the area
Enhances the regional tourism economy
Environmental Stewardship:
Promotes sustainability and environmental improvements
2. Project/Event Readiness
The proposed project or event must be "ready to go," with clear timelines and actionable plans.
3. Addressing a Funding Gap
CDRPA funding must fill a specific gap or address a defined need to make the project/event feasible.
4. Port Engagement
The project/event must offer opportunities for CDRPA to educate attendees about the Port's mission, projects, and contributions to the community.
How to Apply:
Interested organizations can submit their sponsorship or advertising proposal through our online application form. Proposals should include:
A clear description of the project or event
Alignment with one or more of the focus areas
A detailed budget outlining funding needs and Port sponsorship allocation
Information on how the Port will be represented or marketed during the event
